Rafael Leão ready to leave Milan for new league and fresh challenge

Rafael Leão has decided to leave AC Milan in the next transfer window, saying he is ready to play in another league for a new challenge.

"I am proud because I made history at AC Milan, but I want a new chapter. I feel ready to play in another league. I gave my best for Milan, but it is time to try a new challenge," he told Portugal's Sport TV.

Speaking with Casimiro on CazeTV, he was asked which Brazilian club he prefers and he named Flamengo. In 2023, he also said he tries to follow Brazilian football when possible and that his favourite team there is Flamengo.

There are currently no negotiations between Flamengo and Milan.

Flamengo’s priority is to recruit a centre-forward and a left-back.
