Rafael Obrador will not stay at Torino next season despite regular minutes since January. The 22-year-old left-back belongs to Benfica and has started repeatedly but will not continue in Italy.

According to Glorioso 1904, Torino will not trigger the €9 million purchase option, confirming the outlet's 25 April exclusive.

Obrador joined Benfica for about €5 million in a deal linked to Álvaro Carreras, then moved on loan to Torino. Under that arrangement, Real Madrid are entitled to half of any capital gain, affecting Benfica's potential margin in a sale.

The Spaniard is contracted to Benfica until 2030 and his next step remains open. Any resolution will depend on negotiations between the clubs and on terms that could be revisited in the coming weeks.

Across Benfica and Torino this season, Obrador has made 16 appearances, 12 in Serie A, two in Liga Portugal Meu Super, one in the Coppa Italia and one in the Liga Portugal Betclic. He has registered three assists in 1,142 minutes and is valued at €4 million.
