Palladino will be joined by Stefano Citterio, Federico Peluso, Fabio Corabi, Nicola Riva, Andrea Ramponi, and Mattia Casella to form the technical staff. A former Serie A player (211 matches, 24 goals), Palladino has already managed Monza and Fiorentina. With the latter, he finished 6th in Serie A and reached the semi-finals of the Conference League.

Atalanta, currently 13th in Serie A with 13 points, is hoping Palladino can reignite the team. Their next fixture is scheduled for November 22 against SSC Napoli.
