Rangers welcome Dundee to Ibrox this Sunday afternoon in the Scottish Premiership.
The Gers will be searching for a positive result, with the hosts looking to maintain their impressive run of form and continue their chase towards league leaders Hearts.
Rangers could hand league debuts to new signings with Andreas Skov Olsen and Tochi Chukwuani both available for this match following their January arrivals, though Skov Olsen remains doubtful and a decision will be taken after further assessment.
The Light Blues beat competition from rivals to land Skov Olsen, who impressed despite Wolfsburg’s struggles in the Bundesliga, while Chukwuani has already trained with the squad and showed quality in pre-match sessions.
Defender John Souttar remains unavailable with an unspecified injury and will miss the clash with Dundee, while long-term absentees Bailey Rice, Connor Barron, and Derek Cornelius are not yet ready for selection. Dujon Sterling is edging closer to a return from a muscle injury but will not feature this weekend.
Dundee’s defensive department faces significant challenges with Billy Koumetio sidelined by a knee injury expected to keep him out until late February.
Forward Joe Westley remains absent with an ankle injury expected to resolve in early February. Clark Robertson will step in at centre-back following Koumetio’s absence.
Danny Röhl’s side have extended their winning run to seven consecutive games across all competitions, a remarkable turnaround that has seen the Gers climb into genuine title contention.
The Blues ended their nine-game winless run in the Europa League with a dominant display against Ludogorets Razgrad on Thursday night, with Mohamed Diomande’s 33rd-minute strike securing a 1-0 victory.
Most notably, Rangers have not lost a home game in January since 2011, remaining unbeaten in 35 consecutive matches at Ibrox during the month (W31 D4), with four clean sheets in their last four outings.
Following a disappointing run earlier in the season, Dundee have found their rhythm, winning four matches out of their last five in all competitions. They recently defeated Kilmarnock 2-1 in the Scottish Cup.
This run of four wins in the last five includes three consecutive victories in the league before losing to league leaders Hearts.

Dundee FC: McCracken; Atley, Graham, Koumetio, Wright; Congreve, Dhanda, Hamilton, Jones, Yogane; Hay.
