Arsenal will face off against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground this Saturday as they look to earn a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Gunners managed to secure an impressive 3-2 win away at Chelsea in the EFL Cup recently, which should keep them in good spirits going into this game.

Mikel Arteta will set his men up in a 4-3-3 formation once again and is expected to make one change to his first XI for this game. David Raya could play from the start of this game, while Kepa Arrizabalaga makes way for him and drops to the bench.

Defence

David Raya will operate in between the sticks for the Gunners after he was rested in midweek. William Saliba will continue to play alongside Gabriel at the centre of the Arsenal backline as they look to keep a solid shape on the defensive end of the field.

Ben White will try to catch the eye as the right-back, while Jurrien Timber fills in on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.

Myles Lewis-Skelly will offer cover for the left-back position on the bench.

Midfield

Declan Rice, Martin Zubimendi and Martin Odegaard will make up Arteta’s midfield. Their main job would be to win the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park and engineer some inviting chances inside the Nottingham half.

Christian Norgaard and Eberechi Eze will have to be content with a place on the bench as they wait for their chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if needed.

Attack

Leandro Trossard will try to prove his worth as the left-sided wide player, while Bukayo Saka hopes to give a good account of himself on the other side as the right-winger.

Viktor Gyokeres will lead the charge for the North London club up top. He has to figure out a way to be a real menace down the middle.

Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus will make up the numbers on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if the Gunners are in need of a goal by then.
