Rayane Messi leaves Strasbourg to join Neom SC on loan

RC Strasbourg have confirmed the loan of 18-year-old forward Rayane Messi to Neom SC until the end of the season. The club said on Saturday he will play in the Saudi Pro League.

The teenager spent the first half of the campaign at Pau, making 14 Ligue 2 appearances and scoring two goals.

He arrived at Racing in summer 2024 from Dijon.

He has featured only twice for Strasbourg's first team, but caught the eye with a brace in the Coupe de France against Thaon-les-Vosges, becoming one of the youngest scorers in the club's history.

A France youth international from under-16 to under-19 level, he now continues his development with Neom SC, who are eighth in the Saudi Pro League.
