Rayane Messi to join Al-Ettifaq on loan from Strasbourg

Strasbourg winger Rayane Messi, 19, will remain in Saudi Arabia, joining Al-Ettifaq on loan after last season’s stint at Neom.

According to L'Équipe, the switch is another temporary move. He played 13 matches for Neom in the second half of the campaign.

Messi is contracted to Strasbourg until 2030. He arrived from Dijon in 2024.

To date he has featured only twice for the Alsace club.

The move means he will no longer be under Christophe Galtier. Al-Ettifaq finished seventh in the last league season.
