RB Leipzig ‘in talks’ with Ørjan Nyland over summer move

RB Leipzig are in talks with Norwegian goalkeeper Ørjan Nyland over a summer move, with the 35-year-old among the options if Peter Gulácsi chooses Villarreal, Sky Germany reports.

Nyland spent the 2022-23 campaign at Leipzig after arriving as a free agent.

He is being considered again and would be a second-choice option behind Maarten Vandevoordt.

Before that stint, he gained Bundesliga and second-tier experience during three years with FC Ingolstadt 04.

At international level, Nyland started in five of Norway's six matches on their run to the 2026 World Cup quarter-finals, his standout display coming against Brazil.
