The Red Bulls gladly take on responsibility - both on and off the pitch!

As part of our Brazil tour, we’ve teamed up with Red Bull Bragantino to support a sustainable social project in Bragança, just 15 minutes away from the top-flight side's ground.

At the heart of the project is the complete renovation of a public football pitch at Praça Narciso Pinheiro - a space where children and young people from the local community, schools and social programmes will soon be able to play football safely and freely.

Johann Plenge, RB Leipzig CEO

  1. "Both RB Leipzig and our friends at Red Bull Bragantino care deeply about encouraging physical activity among children and young people. This is reflected not only in the dedicated work we do at our youth academies, but also in fantastic grassroots projects like this one. We’re delighted to make a small contribution in this football-loving country by helping restore this pitch, and we’d like to thank the city, the mayor and Red Bull Bragantino for supporting us with this project. It’s been wonderful to receive such a warm welcome here and above all, to bring so much joy to our youngest fans.”

Joint kick-off

RBL CEO Johann Plenge, André Rocha (Red Bull Bragantino General Manager) and Bragança's deputy mayor Gislene Bueno officially launched the project with a ceremonial unveiling of a commemorative plaque on site.

Even though the renovation of the pitch is still ongoing, this joint kick-off already marks a strong statement of social commitment and lays the foundation for many more special moments to come.

Heartwarming moments with the RBL players

Around 40 children from the social initiative Comunidade ZN, which supports underprivileged communities, enjoyed an unforgettable morning full of games, fun and shared experiences together with our first-team players Nicolas Seiwald, Xaver Schlager, Péter Gulácsi and several of our academy players.

Social responsibility is a key part of our sustainability strategy, and one we continue to strengthen through our international initiatives. The day in Bragança was a real highlight for the children, for our players and for everyone who took part.
