According to BuLi News, Leipzig confirmed the diagnosis after examinations in recent days, and the injury will be managed conservatively.

Managing director of sport Marcel Schäfer said the setback came as a shock after Ouédraogo had fought his way back into the team in recent weeks. He noted his development this season has been positive and that his national team debut was deserved and impressive.

Schäfer added that the club are keeping their fingers crossed for a quick return, but stressed the priority is a full recovery, and that Ouédraogo has their full support.
