RB Leipzig have completed the signing of Japanese attacker Ota Yamamoto. The 22-year-old joins the club from Kashiwa Reysol and has penned a deal until 2031.
Yamamoto spent last season on loan at RB Ōmiya Ardija from Kashiwa Reysol, making 19 appearances in 2026, scoring ten goals and providing three assists.

To continue his development and gain further match experience, Yamamoto will return to RB Ōmiya Ardija on loan for the coming season.
