RB Leipzig star unfazed by transfer speculation amid Arsenal, Tottenham, Newcastle and Aston Villa links | OneFootball

Underway with his third season at RB Leipzig, Antonio Nusa has been linked with a move away from the Bundesliga club, with Arsenal, Tottenham, Newcastle United and Aston Villa among the clubs touted as potential suitors over the summer.

The 21-year-old Norway international, however, insists that a move away from RB Leipzig is not on his mind at all right now.

“Honestly, I’m not thinking about that at the moment. I’m very happy here at RB Leipzig. My job is to play good football,” Nusa said in an interview with Sport Bild when asked about the reported interest in him.

Having been valued at around €50-60 million by the media, Nusa declined to put a price tag on himself.

“The sums being paid in the transfer market these days are sometimes crazy. That’s why I wouldn’t want to set my own price either. The valuation is not in my hands. And in the end, as a player, you have no control over it,” he said before adding:

“If a club says: €50 million, €60 million or €100 million – that’s not your decision as a player, but the clubs’. You have to accept it and make the best of it – and not let it drive you crazy.”

Nusa’s contract with RB Leipzig runs until the summer of 2029.
