RB Leipzig ‘submit’ €35m bid plus add-ons for Lille’s Matias Fernandez-Pardo | OneFootball

According to Fabrizio Romano, RB Leipzig have submitted a €35m bid, plus add-ons, for Lille’s 21-year-old Belgian forward Matias Fernandez-Pardo.

The versatile attacker can play as a centre forward or on either wing. He joined Lille from Gent in 2024 and has made 51 Ligue 1 appearances, scoring 12 goals and providing eight assists. He has also won five senior caps for Belgium after progressing through the youth teams.

Fernandez-Pardo previously informed Lille that he wanted to leave, but was told he would not be allowed to depart this summer unless a significant offer arrived.

Leipzig appear to be reinforcing their attack, with Christopher Nkunku set to return to the Bundesliga on loan with an option to buy.

The club sold 19-year-old winger Yan Diomande to Real Madrid for €125m. They will be hoping potential additions, together with new head coach Martín Demichelis, can help them challenge for a top-four finish.
