RB Leipzig ‘submit’ €35m bid for Lille’s Matias Fernandez-Pardo | OneFootball

RB Leipzig have submitted a €35m bid plus add-ons for Lille forward Matias Fernandez-Pardo, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The 21-year-old Belgian can play across the front line. He joined Lille from Gent in 2024 and has 51 Ligue 1 appearances with 12 goals and eight assists.

He has also won five senior caps for Belgium after representing his country at youth level.

Fernandez-Pardo informed Lille he wants to leave, but was told he would not be allowed to depart this summer unless a hefty offer arrived.

Leipzig are strengthening their forward line. Christopher Nkunku is set to return to the Bundesliga on loan with an option to buy.

The club sold 19-year-old winger Yan Diomande to Real Madrid for €125m. They will be hoping these possible additions, together with new head coach Martín Demichelis, will enable them to challenge for a top-four finish.
