RB Leipzig are pursuing a deal for Burnley defender Maxime Estève, with talks focused on a contract running to 2031.

Sky Germany reports that the Frenchman is open to the move, and personal terms are not expected to be an issue.

Leipzig have verbally indicated a willingness to pay about €25 million, which is well below Burnley’s €35-45 million valuation. The English club hope a Premier League bidder enters the race.

Leipzig are also preparing for potential exits of Castello Lukeba or El Chadaille Bitshiabu.

There are currently no offers and no concrete interest for either centre-back. Without a clear sign that one could leave, any deal for Estève remains on hold.
