RB Leipzig’s Arthur Vermeeren rejoins Royal Antwerp on loan for rest of 2026/27

RB Leipzig announced that Arthur Vermeeren has joined Royal Antwerp on loan for the rest of the 2026/27 season.

Vermeeren came through the Antwerp academy before moving to Atlético Madrid in January 2024.

He switched to Leipzig six months later, initially on loan, a deal that was later made permanent.

The 21-year-old spent last season on loan at Olympique de Marseille.

The move takes the Belgian back to his former club.
