RB Leipzig have confirmed Assan Ouédraogo has sustained a capsular shoulder injury in training and will be sidelined for a few weeks.
The 20-year-old featured in 19 Bundesliga matches last season, his progress hampered by multiple injury setbacks.
He was drafted into the World Cup squad by Julian Nagelsmann as Lennart Karl’s replacement after the FC Bayern youngster was injured in one of the final training sessions before the tournament, but he did not play in North America.
