At Spielgemeinschaft Stegersbach

At the end of Matchday 8 of the ADMIRAL Women's Bundesliga, Pavlovic's protégés face a challenge in the east of the country. On Sunday, we'll be visiting SpG Südburgenland/TSV Hartberg, with kick-off at 14:00 CEST.

Bacher's crew started the season with confidence following a flawless promotion campaign that saw no defeats and 104 goals in 22 matches in their previous Second Women's Bundesliga campaign – as Katja Graf and her colleagues made an impressive start in the top flight. However, in recent weeks, the autumn blues have set in, with some of the last four league games being lost by significant margins. The team has statistically the most porous defense.

Golden October ahead?

Our team hasn't been able to add any more points to their tally in recent weeks, and as we all know, we've come up short in our clashes with the Austrian top four. This Sunday (live on ÖFB TV) will see the clash between two teams looking to bounce back after a disappointing September.

Our FC Red Bull Salzburg women also impressed in their ÖFB Women's Cup opening match, and the round of 16 draw has now been made: Our team will face second-division club FC Wacker Innsbruck on 15 or 16 November.

We're facing opponents who, as a newly promoted team, have already shown this season that they're absolutely competitive. For us, it's about continuing our path and bringing our game plan, our intensity, pace, and courage to the pitch for the full 90 minutes.
