RC Lens set for nine July return, Como Cup participation confirmed

RC Lens will begin pre-season training on Thursday nine July.

According to L'Équipe, the friendly programme is still being finalised, but Lens will take part in the Como Cup from 28 July to one August on Lake Como.

They are set to line up alongside Como and Villarreal, opponents they could face in the Champions League next season.

Crystal Palace and Saudi side Al-Ula will also compete, with a sixth team yet to be announced.

The squad have started their holidays following last Friday’s Coupe de France triumph.
