Real Betis have enquired about Manchester City youngster Claudio Echeverri as the summer window enters its final 24 hours. The Seville club are assessing a late addition out wide in case academy product Pablo García departs.
According to Superdeporte, Betis have asked City about the Argentine as they work through options before the window shuts on Wednesday at midnight.
Manuel Pellegrini's side return to the Champions League after two decades and consider the squad well covered, but late movement remains possible.
The long-discussed return of Dani Ceballos has not been finalised, though it has picked up momentum close to the deadline.
Echeverri, 21, has admirers beyond Betis, including Benfica and River Plate. City paid €18.5 million in January 2024 to sign the winger from River.
He spent last season on loan at Girona, where he struggled for continuity, making 17 LaLiga appearances with one goal and one assist.
