In a recent report, Fichajes claimed that Real Madrid are eyeing a move for Paris Saint-Germain ace Vitinha. It has been stated that Los Blancos are eager to acquire the services of the Portuguese talent next year.
Vitinha enjoyed a solid campaign at the French club after he produced a run of impressive displays for them at the centre of the park. The Portuguese talent participated in 59 matches for PSG last season, scoring eight times and picking up five assists across multiple competitions.
The 25-year-old anchored the midfield with conviction as he made 43 tackles, 26 blocks, 14 interceptions and 19 clearances in Ligue 1. He was even excellent when distributing the ball from midfield, based on his pass completion rate of 93.1% in the French top tier (stats via fbref.com).
His current contract at Paris Saint-Germain will run out in the summer of 2029. Hence, Real Madrid would have to make a convincing offer if they are serious about recruiting Vitinha next year.

Vitinha is a solid tackler of the ball and can time his challenges well to earn the ball back for his team inside his half. He doesn’t mind putting his foot through the ball when needed and is a tidy passer of the ball as well.
The Portuguese talent can shoot the ball well from long range and is a decent dribbler with the ball. Vitinha is primarily a box-to-box midfielder but can also play in the number ten position or as a holding midfielder if asked to do so. However, only time will tell whether he can make a smooth transition to life in La Liga if Real Madrid manage to bring him on board next year.
Vitinha would enhance the quality of Los Blancos boss Xabi Alonso’s midfield. He is good enough to challenge for a regular first-team spot at the Madrid club in the coming seasons.
At 25, Vitinha has his best years ahead of him, which makes him a worthy target for Real Madrid to consider next year. He might even help Los Blancos challenge for some major honours in the future. Thus, Vitinha would be a great fit for Real Madrid’s needs in the long run.
