Rodrygo Goes is finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. After a challenging start to the season defined by a 32-game goal drought, the Brazilian forward has turned a corner in recent weeks.
The Brazilian international has become a vital asset for Xabi Alonso’s attack just as the team needs him most.
Since breaking his curse against Manchester City, Rodrygo has looked like a completely different player. His resurgence was evident again in the recent match against Sevilla, where he was a standout performer.
Rodrygo’s resurgent form has not gone unnoticed, with major European clubs lining up to acquire his services.
According to Defensa Central, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, and Liverpool are all monitoring Rodrygo’s situation.

However, Rodrygo’s clear preference is to stay. With the 2026 World Cup on the horizon, his goal is to find stability and arrive at the tournament in peak condition while wearing the Real Madrid jersey.
Rodrygo’s contract runs until 2028, but his future has been the subject of debate. He was reportedly close to an exit last summer, but no club met Real Madrid’s €100 million valuation.
Despite the improvement, the 24-year-old is not satisfied. Rodrygo is determined to evolve from a useful squad player into a bona fide superstar.
According to ESPN, he recently sent a motivated message to his inner circle regarding his ambitions.
“I must repay the faith of the club and the fans. It’s time to take it to the next level,” he reportedly said.
This mentality has delighted President Florentino Perez, who values how the player has stepped up during a difficult competitive period for the club.
