Michael Olise is enjoying an excellent campaign at Bayern Munich this season. The 24-year-old winger, who is currently in his second term with the Bavarians, has struck 13 goals and 25 assists in just 34 matches.

Harry Kane might be the leading man, but the French international has more than proven himself to be an extremely important part of Vincent Kompany’s setup.

Given his exploits, Liverpool are interested in Olise as a direct replacement for Mohamed Salah, who is expected to leave in the summer, reports TEAMTALK.

However, the attacker is understood to be not particularly keen on returning to the Premier League, having previously played for Crystal Palace in the English top flight.

Olise desires Spain move in the future

Interestingly, though, the report states that Olise does wish to play in Spain at some stage in his career in the future, with both Real Madrid and Barcelona fully aware of his desire.

While there is no interest in signing the 24-year-old at this point from either Los Blancos or their bitter rivals, they know of his wishes to play in La Liga in the future.

So, it could spark a future transfer battle between the two heavyweights of Spain, given that few clubs would turn down a player of his calibre.

Real Madrid, especially, could use someone of Olise’s quality on the right flank – a position that does not have a guaranteed starter within the team currently.

As previously mentioned, though, there is no interest in his signing at this point, but only the knowledge of his intention to test himself in the Spanish league in the future.

Meanwhile, Olise too remains fully committed to Bayern Munich, who are already working on renewing his contract, which currently runs until 2029.
