According to a recent report from Defensa Central, Real Madrid’s scouting network in South America has identified one of Brazil’s most exciting young prospects – Eduardo Conceicao, better known as Dudu

The 15-year-old Palmeiras winger has already become one of the standout names in the Brazilian youth circuit, attracting attention from some of Europe’s biggest clubs.

Despite his age, Dudu has been making waves for Palmeiras’ U-17 team. His impressive form has not gone unnoticed, as Palmeiras recently rejected a €16 million offer from an unnamed European side.

Real Madrid are now closely monitoring Dudu’s progress, adding him to their growing list of South American talents.

The teenager primarily plays as a left winger, and just like Vinicius Jr., his stronger foot is his right.

Dudu is particularly adept at dribbling past defenders and creating goal-scoring opportunities, while also displaying a natural instinct for finishing, even if he is not a traditional centre-forward.

Unsurprisingly, comparisons have already been made between Dudu and Estevao Willian, another Palmeiras prodigy who joined Chelsea this past summer for over €30 million.

Growing interest in Dudu

As per the outlet, the growing European interest has not gone unnoticed at Palmeiras.

According to reports from Brazil, the club is already planning to extend Dudu’s contract as soon as he turns 16, ensuring he remains tied to Sao Paulo for the foreseeable future.

Reports suggest his release clause could rise to an astonishing €100 million, a figure intended to deter top clubs like PSG, Chelsea, and now Real Madrid, from swooping in prematurely.

For Madrid, Dudu fits perfectly into their long-term project of identifying elite young talents from South America, a formula that has already yielded great success with Vinicius and Rodrygo

However, the competition will be fierce, and Palmeiras are determined to protect their latest gem.
