Despite a disappointing season that ended without a trophy, Real Madrid continue to dominate the financial aspect of the sport, with the club now on course to achieve something no club has ever managed before.
After already leading Deloitte’s global football revenue rankings for three straight seasons, Real Madrid are expected to post another historic financial result for the current year.
Early projections coming from AS indicate that total revenue could surpass €1.2 billion, setting a completely new benchmark in world sport.
Last season alone, Los Blancos generated a record €1.161 billion in revenue, becoming only the second time the club crossed the €1 billion mark.
However, the latest estimates suggest the number will rise even further thanks to enormous commercial growth and the continued impact of the renovated Santiago Bernabéu.
One of the biggest driving forces behind this financial rise has been the club’s commercial department.

During the 2024/25 campaign, Real Madrid generated €594 million through commercial activity alone, marking an impressive 23% increase compared to previous figures.
Merchandise sales, global marketing strategies and new sponsorship agreements have all contributed heavily to that growth.
At the same time, matchday income continues to produce massive numbers.
Real Madrid recorded €233 million in stadium-related revenue during the 2024/25 season, making it the second-highest matchday figure ever achieved by any football club.
Furthermore, the modernised Bernabeu continues to transform the club financially, with concerts, premium experiences and commercial events now becoming a major part of the overall business strategy.
The club’s financial ambition, according to the outlet, does not appear to be slowing down anytime soon.

In fact, Real Madrid are already working on securing even larger commercial agreements heading into next season.
The Spanish giants have renewed their partnership with Emirates as the club’s main shirt sponsor until the 2030/31 season.
The deal is worth around €74 million annually and remains one of the most lucrative sponsorship agreements in football.
Meanwhile, negotiations are also ongoing with Adidas regarding a long-term extension of their partnership.
Although the current agreement does not expire until 2029, both parties are interested in improving the terms and extending the collaboration further.
Simply put, Real Madrid are now aiming to push total shirt sponsorship revenue close to €300 million, a figure that would further increase the financial gap between themselves and most European rivals.
