The atmosphere surrounding Real Madrid is becoming increasingly uncomfortable following another disappointing campaign, and fresh reports suggest these tensions may now be reaching a dangerous level.
Despite assembling one of the most star-studded attacking line-ups in world football, Real Madrid will finish the season without the major trophies.
So, as frustrations continue to grow, attention has increasingly shifted towards the relationship between Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jr.
What was once viewed as a dream partnership capable of dominating European football for years is now reportedly creating serious internal debate.
According to reports from L’Equipe, some figures within the club have already started questioning whether the coexistence between Mbappe and Vinicius is truly sustainable in the long run.
While there is disappointment regarding how the two attackers function together on the pitch, there are also growing worries linked to dressing room dynamics and leadership within the squad.

Mbappe, in particular, has found himself under heavy scrutiny in recent weeks following his public frustration regarding Alvaro Arbeloa.
That episode did not go down well and has further complicated his relationship with parts of the dressing room.
According to the report, a significant number of players view Mbappe as overly individualistic, while Vinicius continues to enjoy stronger support within the group.
The Brazilian is seen by many teammates as a more emotionally connected figure inside the dressing room and someone capable of uniting the squad during difficult moments.
Although the relationship between the two stars is not believed to be openly hostile, there is concern that Mbappe’s recent behaviour could increase his isolation.
As such, that tension has led some club officials to consider the possibility that selling one of the two forwards may eventually become necessary if performances and chemistry fail to improve.

This is because they feel the partnership has not worked in these two years.
Despite the growing noise surrounding the situation, club president Florentino Perez has no intention of allowing either player to leave this summer.
In fact, both Vinicius and Mbappe remain central figures in the long-term sporting project being built at the Bernabeu.
The club president continues to view the French superstar as one of the pillars of Real Madrid’s future, while Vinicius remains equally untouchable in the president’s eyes.
The bigger issue for Madrid may therefore not be choosing between the two stars, but rather finding a structure that allows both players to coexist successfully.
Right now, that balance appears far from solved and yet, an exit for Mbappe appears highly improbable given that he only arrived recently and remains tied to the club until 2029.
