Real Madrid spent heavily on a new left-back last summer, signing Alvaro Carreras from SL Benfica in a deal worth €50 million.
With Ferland Mendy and Fran Garcia also present at the club, the Merengues have three left-backs in the first-team squad vying for a spot.
Despite that, reports in Germany suggest that Real Madrid have set their sights on another player in the same position.
Indeed, according to Florian Plettenberg of Sky, Real Madrid have added Eintracht Frankfurt left-back Nathaniel Brown to their shortlist for the summer of 2026.
The 22-year-old has been with Eintracht for nearly two years now, having joined the club in January 2024. In recent months, he has grown into one of the most consistent and reliable left-backs in the Bundesliga, even breaking into the German national team.

So far this term, Brown has played 18 times in all competitions, chipping in with a goal and three assists in the process.
Brown’s performances have attracted strong interest from top clubs in Europe, with Real Madrid among his admirers. Club scouts watched him in Eintracht’s recent games against Koln and Atalanta.
Barcelona are also understood to be showing concrete interest in the 22-year-old, while Manchester United are also in the race.
Eintracht are convinced that Brown will leave the club next summer and sporting director Markus Krosche will demand a transfer fee of around €60-70 million for the player.
It seems unlikely that Real Madrid would be spending so much on a new left-back, only a year after their splurge on Carreras, unless they decide to part ways with Mendy and Garcia at the end of the season to make room for a new signing.
