Florentino Perez lashed out at LaLiga referees.

This Sunday, during Real Madrid's General Assembly, Florentino Pérez did not hold back. The president of Los Blancos took aim at Spanish officiating and FC Barcelona over the José María Enriquez Negreira affair, the former vice president of the referees' technical committee who was paid by the Catalan club between 2001 and 2018.

"The level of Spanish refereeing is not normal. It's a disgrace that, among the 35 Spanish referees, FIFA doesn't select a single one. And of course, it's also not normal that Barça paid, no matter the reason, the vice president of the referees more than 8 million euros for at least 17 years. He had important duties and, coincidentally, this period matches up with Barça's best results in our country," declared the Madrid chief.
