Those in a position of power at La Liga giants Real Madrid have this week come to a collective decision on the immediate future of youngster Endrick with the club.

This comes amid confirmation that the Brazilian will spend at least the opening half of the upcoming season plying his trade in the famed white of Los Blancos.

Frontman Endrick has of course seen the subject of his future come in for widespread discussion across the summer to date. Fresh off a productive loan stint in France with Lyon last season, the expectation, initially, was that the 20-year-old would be afforded a fresh chance to prove his talents in Spain’s capital.

Real Madrid’s recent signing of Carlos Espí from Levante, though, saw speculation re-emerge in force that Endrick could be farmed out on a fresh loan.

José Mourinho and co. therefore sat down for a new round of talks over the weekend, with a view to making a final decision on the young attacker’s situation.

And as alluded to above, early this week, confirmation of the outcome of this meeting has come to the fore online. As per a report from journalist Fabrizio Romano, citing Spanish outlet Diario AS:

‘Real Madrid inform Endrick and his agents about decision to keep the player at the club. Real management told Roc Nation about decision to keep Endrick and continue with him in the squad. José Mourinho also approved the plan.’
