Eduardo Camavinga’s season at Real Madrid has drifted into a complicated stretch, and frustration is beginning to build around the midfielder’s inability to sustain momentum.
What was supposed to be the period where he finally settled into a consistent rhythm has instead turned into another cycle of interruptions, with fresh concerns emerging just as he seemed ready to stabilise his form.
After recovering from an earlier physical issue, Camavinga believed he was on the verge of establishing himself with both Real Madrid and the French national team.
However, his international stint was abruptly cut short, forcing him to return to Madrid for further assessment.
Now, though, according to AS, the player is once again searching for consistency, something that has repeatedly eluded him throughout the campaign.
A significant reason behind this struggle has been the recurring physical problems that have followed him for more than a year.
Last season, Camavinga was forced to miss 35 of Real Madrid’s 68 matches, severely limiting his development.
This constant stop-start rhythm has made it difficult for him to grow into a reliable presence.

Notably, Camavinga returned to action in September, and it was not until October that he was finally cleared to start his first match.
His progress was visible, and he even delivered an impressive performance during El Clásico, suggesting that his turning point had arrived.
But only weeks later, his level dipped again, notably against Liverpool, reviving the concerns surrounding his inconsistency.
Now, he faces another setback. The latest issue is minor and will not prevent him from being available for the match against Elche, but it arrives at the worst possible moment.
The only positive is that Xabi Alonso will have time to work with him during the remainder of the international break.
The manager views him as an X-factor, a player capable of altering games with his energy, versatility, and dynamism.
Yet Alonso has not been able to fully tap into that potential because Camavinga’s form continues to fluctuate.
The mission for the coaching staff is to stabilise him, eliminate the peaks and drops, and help him become a consistent performer.
