Real Madrid are in the market for reinforcements in midfield, with the club looking for someone who can control and dictate play from the centre.
Several names, ranging from Manchester City superstar Rodri to AZ Alkmaar rising star Kees Smit, have been mentioned as potential targets for the Spanish capital giants.
Now, another young talent from the Bundesliga has emerged as a possible option for Real Madrid in their bid to strengthen the midfield department.
Indeed, according to Defensa Central, Real Madrid are keeping a close watch on Hugo Larsson, a 21-year-old midfielder currently playing for Eintracht Frankfurt.
The Merengues have been tracking him for some time and could consider a move if he becomes available this summer. The player is also said to be highly regarded by club chief scout Juni Calafat.
Despite being under contract until 2029, he is valued at around €32 million, making him an attractive option for top clubs looking to strengthen their midfield.

Larsson is considered a modern midfielder, capable of operating in multiple roles. He can play as an interior or in a box-to-box capacity, combining technical quality with strong physical attributes.
The 21-year-old Swede has featured both in a double pivot and as a single holding midfielder, demonstrating his ability to defend and build play from deep positions.
His stride and physical reach allow him to cover ground effectively and intercept passes, adding to his defensive contribution. These qualities make him adaptable to different tactical systems.
Clubs in the Premier League are also monitoring Larsson and are reportedly willing to pay his transfer fee. Manchester United, for one, are said to be admirers of the 21-year-old midfielder.
For now, Real Madrid are not expected to make any immediate moves. The club plan to wait until the end of the season before making decisions, particularly as they are satisfied with the progress of academy player Thiago Pitarch, who is adapting well to the first-team environment.
