Andriy Lunin has once again become a talking point at Real Madrid, following the injury of Thibaut Courtois earlier this month.
The Ukrainian international has been thrust back into the starting eleven and is now expected to play a key role for Real Madrid in the month of April, as Courtois recovers from his injury.
In the background, however, Lunin’s future remains a hot topic, as clubs continue to explore the possibility of luring him away from the Spanish capital.
A recent report from AS has offered a comprehensive update on the future of Andriy Lunin.
The report suggests neither Real Madrid nor Lunin are considering a change of scenery right now. This is despite the fact that he has found game time hard to come by.
Barring the recent two games against Manchester City and Atletico Madrid, the goalkeeper has featured in just three competitive matches this season.

However, his performance in those two matches has convinced Real Madrid that the Ukrainian continues to be an alternative to Courtois – someone who can be relied upon.
Lunin, for his part, has flirted with the idea of leaving Real Madrid in the past. But despite offers from several clubs, very few convinced him.
His family, meanwhile, remains quite settled in the Spanish capital, which is a key reason he opted to sign a surprise contract extension in 2024.
With his new deal not expiring until 2030, Lunin appears set to continue at Real Madrid, although nothing can be ruled out in football.
For now, the Ukrainian international will focus on his current assignments at Real Madrid, who have a crunch game against Bayern Munich in the month of April.
