Real Madrid are reportedly considering the possibility of signing Atalanta and Nigeria winger Ademola Lookman during the summer transfer window of 2025, claims a report from Fichajes.
As the club looks to strengthen its attack and maintain competitiveness across all competitions, Lookman has emerged as a key target.
His impressive form for Atalanta in Serie A this season has caught the attention of several top European clubs, and Real Madrid happen to be one of them.
Lookman has made an excellent start to the season, contributing eight and five assists in just 14 games. His explosive performances have drawn interest from other major clubs, such as Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.
As far as Real Madrid are concerned, they see the 27-year-old as a versatile and dynamic player who can provide a much-needed boost to their attacking options.

Known for his pace and ability to stretch defences, Lookman’s ability to operate on the wings and contribute in various offensive positions makes him an attractive prospect for any club looking to increase attacking depth.
However, securing Lookman’s signature will not come without challenges. Atalanta is aware of his growing value and could demand a transfer fee close to €70 million for the winger.
While Real Madrid already boast a strong offensive squad, adding Lookman would provide extra depth and additional tactical options for manager Carlo Ancelotti, particularly during the long and gruelling season where squad rotation is crucial.
As the summer transfer window approaches, Real Madrid will have to assess whether to prioritise Lookman’s acquisition or focus on other transfer targets.
Regardless of the outcome, the fact that Real Madrid is showing interest in him highlights their continued ambition to build a balanced squad, combining youthful talent with experience, to compete for all major titles.
