Real Madrid seal verbal agreement with 2nd Chelsea star | OneFootball

La Liga outfit Real Madrid have this weekend closed a verbal agreement on the personal terms of a contract with Chelsea star Enzo Fernández.

This comes as the former Benfica man prepares to do his part to push through a summer move to Spain’s capital.

Enzo is widely understood to have been earmarked as something of a priority signing on the part of the Real Madrid brass with a view to next season.

Amid an ongoing search for reinforcements in the middle of the park, the Argentine international is considered the ideal profile to add something new to incoming boss José Mourinho’s ranks.

Florentino Pérez and co. have therefore spent recent days working towards finding a deal with Enzo and his entourage.

And as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the media on Saturday is anything to go by, as much now appears to have been found.

As per a report from market insider Gianluigi Longari:

‘Real Madrid have a verbal agreement with Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez for a 5-year contract. Chelsea don’t want to let the Argentine go, but the midfielder will push for the transfer to happen. First contact between clubs is expected soon. The valuation will be at least €120m.’
