Endrick is one of Real Madrid’s strongest candidates to leave the club in the upcoming January transfer window.
Having found it difficult to gain regular game-time under Xabi Alonso, the youngster is set to leave the club on a loan deal in order to gain regular game-time during the second half of the season.
Recent reports suggest Real Madrid are already in talks with Olympique Lyon over a loan move for the Brazilian international.
According to Foot Mercato, Endrick, for his part, has identified Lyon as his first choice as he looks to find a suitable loan move in January.
The young forward believes the Ligue 1 club could be an ideal destination for his growth for a multitude of reasons, including Paulo Fonseca.
Endrick is well aware of Fonseca’s reputation for being a shrewd operator who never backs away from trusting young players.

Moreover, with Fonseca being a native Portuguese speaker, Endrick will find it easier to communicate. The youngster believes the integration process will be easier in a French environment with a Portuguese background.
Not to mention, Lyon also participate in the UEFA Europa League, which is an added incentive for Endrick as he would like to compete in the highest level possible.
In fact, Lyon might even emerge as a favourite in the Europa League, having already won their first three matches.
That being said, an agreement still needs to be reached, especially when it comes to sharing the player’s wages, which is estimated to be around €350,000 per month.
A potential deal involving Real Madrid covering a part of his salary does not look impossible and so it will be interesting how things transpire from now on.
