David Alaba is one of the players expected to bid goodbye to Real Madrid at the end of the 2025/26 season.
The veteran defender has entered the final six months of his contract at the Bernabeu and the club have zero intentions of offering him a new deal as things stand.
Now, according to The Athletic, Pini Zahavi, David Alaba’s agent, is looking to secure his client a move to Saudi Arabia in the summer.
Real Madrid have no plans to extend Alaba’s deal, with his high salary and limited involvement, due to injuries, being the primary reasons behind the stance.
In fact, Los Blancos were in favour of the veteran Austrian’s exit last summer itself, but the player’s desire to stay and fight for his place won over.

Things, though, have hardly gone according to plans for the former Bayern Munich captain, with injuries playing spoilsport again.
So, while he had hoped to earn an extension, Alaba is now staring at the exit doors, with his agent Zahavi already working on bringing in offers for him from the Middle East.
As things stand, the Austrian has still not notified Real Madrid about his future plans and intentions. His current focus is fully on recovering full fitness and contributing in the second half of the season, with an eye on the summer’s World Cup.
But, unless something changes significantly, Alaba is in his last months at the Bernabeu and Saudi Arabia is an avenue that his agent is exploring for him.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid already have laid out plans to replace the veteran defender by re-signing Jacobo Ramon from Como in an €8 million deal.
