On Saturday night, Real Madrid defeated Pape Gueye's Villarreal in La Liga. Scoring a brace with a panenka, Kylian Mbappé dedicated his goal to Brahim Diaz.

Real Madrid got the better of Villarreal (2-0) in La Liga last night. In stoppage time, Kylian Mbappé bagged a brace, netting a penalty with a cheeky panenka. And it all happened right in front of his teammate Brahim Diaz.

This move came less than a week after the Moroccan's missed attempt at the same trick in the final of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations against Senegal (0-1, after extra time). Diaz was embraced by Mbappé, who dedicated the goal to him during his celebration.

"It's for you! It's for you!" repeated the former Parisian to his teammate, as shown in footage broadcast by Movistar+.
