Real Sociedad secured their first league win of the season against Valencia. According to Diario Vasco, several performances stood out in a much-needed victory.
Nerea Eizagirre had two early chances, one clear, then opened her account. Moraza helped create the goal, struggled against Mascarell, and had another chalked off for offside soon after the half-hour. Goalkeeper Arrula reacted quickly to prevent Wifi from equalising before the break.
Paula Fernández, rated five, dominated midfield, set the tempo and chose the right pass. Ainhoa, also five, won duels, beat players and repeatedly created chances from her flank. Intza earned four, assisting the goal after a strong carry and adding bite as the lead grew.
Camino took four, timing her overlaps well with Ainhoa and contributing defensively despite suffering spells. Apari also four, read play, covered well and, despite a booking for a misjudged advance, stayed assured. Claudia Florentino received three, quick to intercept and happy to step into attack.
Ainoa was given two, less prominent than Paula Fernández, better when drifting right, then struggled after half-time. Cecilia took two, found it hard to beat her marker and the play tilted to the opposite wing. Eizagirre rated four overall.
Off the bench, Arola received one, replacing Cecilia during the most difficult minutes and lacking speed on the ball. Esther earned two after coming on for Ainhoa, battled for loose balls and linked play to push the team up. Seelenfreund took three, replacing Eizagirre, won key aerials when her side needed relief and metres.
