Real Sociedad swithering on decision to sign Chelsea youngster | OneFootball

Last summer, Real Sociedad agreed a deal to take Chelsea forward Bryan Fiabema on loan for the 2023-24 season. The Norwegian youngster arrived as a top prospect, although his time in Donostia-San Sebastian could have gone better, as he only managed five goals and one assist for Sanse, La Real’s B team.

Despite this, club officials have not ruled out signing him permanently. La Real have the option to make Fiabema their own player from this summer onwards, but despite their agreement with Chelsea expiring in a few days’ time, the decision have not yet been taken, as confirmed by MD.

Sanse is currently overcrowded with strikers, which could work against Fiabema in his big to sign on a permanent basis. On the other hand, Real Sociedad are aiming to move on multiple nines from their first team, which could give the 21-year-old a chance to impress Imanol Alguacil if he is kept on.
