Real Sociedad will not train at Zubieta again until Monday as the international window bites, with the club the fifth in La Liga for call-ups, nine in total. Matarazzo has given the rest of the squad time off after a hectic start, with eight games to come in 29 days between 11 October and 8 November.

According to Diario Vasco, the nine away are Oyarzabal with Spain, Aramburu and Yangel with Venezuela, Óskarsson with Iceland, Kubo with Japan, Sarr with Senegal, Sucic with Croatia, Jon Martín with the under-21s and Ochieng with Kenya.

Only Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atlético and Villarreal have more this window, with Barça on 17, Madrid and Atlético on 15 each, and Villarreal on 11.

Several clubs compressed training into three days this week, then granted rest until the 10-11 October round.

Matarazzo has released his players from Tuesday to Sunday. They held a recovery session on Monday after Mestalla and will be back in on Monday, with the Euskal Herria Txapela against Athletic at Anoeta on Friday 2 to tune up, before hosting Deportivo on Sunday 11 October at 16.15.

Available to train are Remiro and Marrero in goal, defenders Sergio Gómez, Héctor Fort, Pacheco, Aihen and Zubeldia, midfielders Gorrotxategi, Turrientes, Soler, Marín and Zakharyan, plus Barrenetxea and Guedes up front. Fraga, Beitia and Marchal are with Sanse this week.
