RC Lens back-up goalkeeper Régis Gurtner has suffered a muscle injury that could rule him out for the rest of the season. According to L'Équipe, head coach Pierre Sage disclosed the news at Thursday’s pre-match press conference.
Gurtner was hurt in training on Wednesday and the issue is considered serious.

The 39-year-old is understudy to Robin Risser and has played one match this season.
The autumn champions will be without Odsonne Édouard, Anthony Bermont, Amadou Haïdara and Gurtner when they host AJ Auxerre on Saturday at 17:00.
Long-term absentees Jonathan Gradit and Jhoanner Chavez remain in treatment and reconditioning.
