Régis Le Bris fears Sunderland picked up as many as five fresh injuries in the 3-1 home defeat to Fulham.

According to Sunderland Echo, Dennis Cirkin was ruled out before kick-off with a minor problem, and Reinildo is already sidelined for around a month with a knee issue. The Black Cats then lost Nordi Mukiele and Jocelin Ta Bi in the first half, with Mukiele initially trying to continue.

The head coach said he does not yet know the severity, but he is also concerned about Brian Brobbey and Romaine Mundle. Brobbey went down shortly before being substituted, and Mundle left the pitch with the physio at full time.

Le Bris felt key moments and clinical finishing decided the game. He said Sunderland were sloppy and lacked control in a poor first half, though the reaction after the break was positive.

He highlighted a major second-half chance for Mundle that went begging, and said Fulham then scored twice from set pieces. Le Bris added it is a tough period for his squad, but they have to accept it and move forward.
