Reims ‘to part company’ with Karel Geraerts

Reims are to part company with Karel Geraerts after missing out on promotion to Ligue 1.

According to d'ici Champagne-Ardenne, the Belgian, aged 44, was only a year into a deal scheduled to run until June 2027.

Geraerts had suggested he was on his way after Reims failed to reach the promotion play-offs.

He arrived last year and oversaw 34 league games in Ligue 2 this season.

His side won 14 of those matches.
