Rangers have failed with another offer to sign Amario Cozier Duberry from Premier League side Brighton, who ‘have rejected a second bid’, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Derek McInnes’ side are pushing ahead with business in the transfer market as they look to add more bodies before the window shuts at the start of September.
Rangers did think they had another winger in through the door after agreeing a fee with PSV Eindhoven for Couhaib Driouech.

That move though collapsed after Rangers were unhappy with his medical results, something which baffled PSV Eindhoven, who insist he is fit for the long term and could even have played in the short term.
The Gers have been working on alternative options and are one of a number of sides keen on Brighton’s Cozier Duberry.

The 21-year-old former Arsenal youth star has already seen one bid from Rangers for his services knocked back.
Now a second proposal has been turned down by Brighton, which came in at around the £7m mark.
Rangers face competition for Cozier Duberry from several other sides, but talks over a possible deal will continue as they try to take him to Ibrox.
The winger, who can also operate as an attacking midfielder, has had two successive loan spells away from Brighton.
He spent the 2024/25 campaign on loan at Blackburn Rovers, while the 2025/26 season was spent at Bolton Wanderers.

At Bolton, Cozier Duberry attracted interest from higher up the pyramid as West Brom and Sheffield United were keen.
He was though advised to remain with the Trotters for the season, which he did.
Arsenal had been keen to keep Cozier Duberry, but failed and he informed them in the summer of 2024 that he had decided to leave.
