One reliable Chelsea reporter has put out his starting Xl for Chelsea vs Leicester City on Saturday afternoon in their next Premier League game.

It’s a little early to be predicting the lineup, but Bobby Vincent of Football London is often ‘in the know’ and will call lineups correct more often than not. So his starting Xl is probably worth taking note of.

EXCLUSIVE! Premier League club make enquiry to sign Chelsea player that could lead to swap deal seeing striker going the other way!!

Chelsea will head to Leicester for the 12.30pm kick off live on TV, and the game will see Enzo Maresca heading back to his former club, so there will be some mixed emotions ahead of this one for the Italian coach.

He has already had a big boost ahead of the game with five big name players back in training yesterday after all having some issues lately.

So you can find the full preview piece on Football London, but there are a few surprises in the starting Xl, which we must remind you again that it is just a predicted lineup and may not be this at all come the day.

Madueke continues to get chances

Madueke needs a short spell on the sidelines

I think Noni Madueke has been poor in a Chelsea shirt for the last 5 games at least, and really, he needs to be dropped. However, Vincent believes he will keep his place in the starting Xl this Saturday.

The other surprise is no Romeo Lavia starting and Enzo Fernandez starting ahead of him. Although this wouldn’t perhaps be too surprising seeing as Lavia left the Belgium camp early with injury this week.

Vincent has gone for:

Sanchez; James, Fofana, Colwill, Cucurella; Caicedo, Fernandez; Madueke, Palmer, Neto; Jackson.

The other surprise is no Malo Gusto, but Marc Cucurella’s form this season has been superb so he surely has to start again Saturday.

Pedro Neto would also be another deserved starter, and no apparent injury issues expected for Levi Colwill or Cole Palmer, who both missed the international break with England through injury.
