Remo have shown interest in attacking midfielder Patrick and will try to agree a loan with Santos, according to Diario Do Peixe. He is not in Santos’ plans and is contracted there until December.
Remo have returned to Série A and are building a squad to compete with the top flight.
Patrick spent last year on loan at Athletico-PR, making 41 appearances across the state championship, Copa do Brasil and Série B.
For Santos, he has 11 appearances. He played 10 times with one assist in the 2024 Série B, then featured against Velo Clube in the 2025 Paulistão.
Santos brought him in last year through the exception window on loan with an option to buy from Atlético-MG. Marcelo Teixeira said the deal set the option at US$ one million, payable from 2025 in 12 instalments of approximately R$ 400,000 per month.
The signing attracted criticism from supporters, who pointed to limited output, fitness concerns and the cost. Alexandre Gallo said the move was planned with promotion to the top division in mind.
Teixeira later said he asked Fábio Carille about the player’s lack of minutes and was told it was a technical and tactical decision. Carille said Patrick would feature when results were good. After a match at Mirassol, Patrick denied being out of shape.
