Rémy Cabella agrees to Nantes move | OneFootball

Rémy Cabella (35) left Lille OSC to join Olympiakos in the summer, however, he could be about to make a swift return to France, according to a report from Ouest-France. 

Cabella has 330 appearances in Ligue 1 to his name, but when he left LOSC upon the expiry of his contract, he was not expected to add to that figure. However, the Frenchman has been used sparingly by Olympiakos since signing a two-year deal in the summer. The forward has not been included in the club’s UEFA Champions League squad and he has only played seven matches for the Greek club. 

A departure is now on the cards. FC Nantes find themselves in a relegation battle and have just sacked Luís Castro. He has been replaced by Ahmed Kantari, who is in interim charge until the end of the campaign.

Nantes are therefore looking to strengthen and are in talks to sign Cabella on loan until the end of the season. Ouest-France understands that the player has already agreed to join Les Canaris.
