Rennes’ Esteban Lepaul attracting Serie A and Bundesliga interest | OneFootball

It could be a busy transfer window for Stade Rennais, who are seeing interest in their players grow. As reported by L’Équipe on Thursday, Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal have made a concrete approach to sign academy product Mohamed Kader Meité, while an unnamed but big Premier League side are also making inroads on a deal for the centre-forward.

Meité is seen as a prospect, but another one of Rennes’ forwards, Esteban Lepaul, is performing excellently right now. Signed from SCO Angers over the summer, Lepaul has hit the ground running and already has nine goals to his name this season. Currently, he is the third top scorer in France’s top-flight.

His performances for the Breton club have attracted interest from clubs in Serie A and the Bundesliga, L’Équipe understands. However, Lepaul is not open to leaving Les Rennais this month, given that he has only just arrived at the club.
