Rennes are tracking Benfica centre-back Gonçalo Oliveira, 19, for next season, according to L'Équipe.
The club intend to add one or two central defenders and, alongside an experienced recruit, the left-footed Portuguese is being considered by Franck Haise.

The interest could lead to a transfer worth around three and a half million euros, though nothing is agreed.
Oliveira featured this season for Benfica’s reserve team in the Portuguese second tier and turns 20 next month.
He is a Portugal Under-21 international and captained a Youth League semi-finalist side.
