Stade Rennais valiantly defeated AC Milan 3-2 during their midweek Europa League playoff, but it was not enough to turn around their first-leg deficit. Julien Stéphan will look to make a couple of changes to the side that won as they visit league leaders Paris Saint-Germain.
Rennes will look to rest Arthur Theate and Guéla Doué, and in their place, the team will instead turn to Jeanuël Belocian and Alidu Seidu. Otherwise, Stéphan will line up with a fairly unchanged starting eleven.
After Stéphan was appointed midseason, Désiré Doué found his playing time reduced but the talented midfielder has since earned the trust of his manager and become an essential part to the team’s ambitions to secure a European place. And the young star in the making will be rewarded with a start against PSG.
